REUVEKAMP, Anthony (Tony)

With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of Anthony (Tony) Reuvekamp youngest son of the late Walter & Agatha (deHaas) Reuvekamp on Wednesday, July 5,2022 at Hamilton General Hospital. Tony was born October 7, 1959 making him 62 in age but had a way of maintaining his youth in the way he lived his life. Tony was a 21 year employee of Genaire where he painted aircraft parts.

Tony is survived by his older brother Ron and his wife Heather and he was the fun Uncle to Derek (Kara) and James (Diana) Reuvekamp and their 7 girls Jade, Lexi, Tayla, Nova, Bryn, Avery & Allie all of Hampton, New Brunswick as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins mostly in the St. Catherines area and Noordwijkerhout, Holland. Cousin Ria Bader from Holland was like the sister they never had and always kept close ties. And his life long friend Shawn Chappell who we appreciate so much being there with Tony not only in the hospital but throughout the years.

Respecting Tony’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.

Just remember the good times and raise a glass in his memory !

We hope friends and family will share some of their memorable times of times shared with Tony as colourful as they may be to [email protected]  . I want to put together a collection of Tony moments for his friends and family to enjoy.

So sorry you are not going to experience your dream of retirement and moving East closer to family.
I am so grateful to Shawn for being there with you !
I am also grateful that our last visit with you was such a fun one of catching up and sharing dreams. That is the memory I will hold on to.
I am hoping your friends and co-workers will share their Tony memories with me to collect and share with your friends.
Rest Easy Tony and continue to watch over and live your life through us on this ride of life.
I have shared this 3 generation pic here of you and Ron with your Dad Walter and nephews Derek and James
