Robert (Bob) Alfred Ready

 June 17 1932 to November 25 2024

Suddenly at home in his 93 year.

Oldest son of parents Alf and Ruth Ready (deceased) of Dundas, Betty Fulford (Horace) of London, Richard (Dick) Ready (deceased) of Westport, Walter Ready (deceased) of Hamilton, Judy Cernick (Edward) of Vineland, and Virginia (Gini) DeSantis (Dick) of Anderson, Indiana USA and many nieces and nephews.

Bob was married in his 20s to Della and they had one daughter Eva-Maria (Kitten) Ready possibly of Nova Scotia.

In his later years he was predeceased by his companion Pearl of Brantford.

Bob had a lot of challenges in his life but had a kind heart and was always helping others in need.

He worked at a foundry and construction and in his later years at Flamboro Downs helping with horses.

Bob learned to read and write in mid-life.

He enjoyed his gardens and flowers, was a good artist and was devoted to his many cats.

The family wishes to thank Christina Beechey and daughter Karen for providing homemade meals and friendship for Bob at home these last years.

We also wish to thank the two “cat ladies” Anna Palombi and Sherry Suprun of the Telephone City feral cat rescue for their visits with Bob and Tommy (Bob’s latest cat) and for taking Tommy after Bob’s passing. A kind “thank you” as well to Diane Stratford and others in Bob’s neighbourhood for keep an eye on Bob.

Cremation has taken place at Tranquility in Brantford.

Service will take place Wed. Dec 11 at 1:30pm at Holy Cross cemetery chapel in Paris Ontario.

In lieu of flowers donations to the SPCA or your local humane society or a charity of your choice would be much appreciated.

    I met Bob in 2010 very kind and loved to show off his hockey cards was very proud of his collection …He was great at drawing nature and loved all his cats from pearl,spaz and much more…Your finally back with pearl and your kitty friends…Sore high Bob you will be missed and loved by many….
