Gordon Bryan Peterson
October 19, 1953 – December 13, 2025
Gordon Bryan Peterson was born on October 19, 1953, in Hamilton, Ontario. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Margaret Peterson; his sister, Lois Peterson; and his sister-in-law, Angie Peterson.
He will be greatly missed by his brothers Al, Lloyd (Barb) and Dave (Chris), as well by his many nieces and nephews.
Gord lived a full and colourful life and was known for his generous spirit and easygoing nature. An avid reader and passionate fisherman, he especially loved sharing his time on the water with friends and family, welcoming everyone aboard his boat and making sure they had a great day.
In his younger years, Gord played the saxophone in his own band, a reflection of his outgoing personality and love of music. He was a devoted Hamilton Tiger-Cats fan and a skilled pool hustler, always ready with a story, a laugh, or friendly competition. Gord was admired for his loyalty, good humour, and willingness to help others whenever he could.
Above all, Gord will be remembered as a kind-hearted and genuine man who looked out for those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In keeping with Gord’s wishes, there will be no formal funeral service. A private celebration of life will take place at a later time.
