Patricia Burritt

On March 29, Patricia (Pat) Burritt (nee Morgan) passed away peacefully at the age of 84. Patricia will be missed by her sister Ruth Gregory, her children David (& Thelma) Burritt, and Sharon (& Stacy) Tebbutt, and their seven grandchildren, Katie Tebbutt, Liz Puersten, Matt Burritt, Annie Puersten, Emily Burritt, Ben Tebbutt and Chris Tebbutt.  She was predeceased by her husband Rev. Hugh Burritt.

Patricia was a generous nurturer, who cared for people despite her own suffering.  She was an artist, gardener and lover of nature, especially while canoeing in tranquil waters.  She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

She was a first generation Canadian who became a teacher.  But her specialty was providing a stable home for her family as they journeyed through Ontario and Quebec.

As a retiree in Omemee, Pat was an active member of the Omemee Horticultural Society.  After Pat and her late husband Hugh moved to Meadowvale, they began attending Mississauga City Baptist Church.  Her final residence was in Brampton at Grace Manor, Holland Christian Homes.

Service: Wednesday, April 5 at 1pm at Mississauga City Baptist Church, 3434 Cawthra Road, Mississauga, ON. Reception to follow.
