Don was a good friend. I worked with him at NPC and we continued our friendship after I left. He designed a Herstory logo for me. He was great fun and always supportive. I know from talking with students the level of respect and affection he garnered from the way he conducted himself and treated others. He had the greatest laugh…rest in peace dear friend.

I send my deepest sympathies to the family of a fantastic teacher. Mr. Nuns you touched so many lives and made your corner of the world a better place. I don’t think I would have made it through high school without your kindness and support. Rest in peace ✌️

Sorry to hear his passing. I had him in my first year of high-school. Knew him for a few years after I graduated. He was something else at times.

Mr. Nunns was the best teacher I had in high school. He made class fun, learning was fun. Near a dull moment, that’s for sure. He talked to you like a friend, not a teacher. You will be missed Mr Nunns!!!

Mr. Nunns was my Grade 10 science teacher. He made that class so fun and interesting. He was always there if anyone was struggling with science or if you needed to talk about family issues. He was such a great teacher! He will be greatly missed ?. RIP Mr. Nunns

One of the greatest teachers i ever had….never afraid to joke around…or tell a dirty joke to the students….especially in science he had a way of reaching “problem stdents ” and getting them interested in the material….i met donny later again to watch him airbrush a truck….his paint job won first place at the car show…again just a great man who will be missed by many…R.I.P. Donny

I only had Mr nunns for one class and he was a wonderful teacher. I did however join his after school weight class, he gave nothing but incouragement and showed nothing but class, he took a kid from 125 ibs too 135 ibs very quickly, I’ll always be greatful for that, his inperation and will taught me too never give up, as now I’m 200 ibs and can always hear him sayin ” you can do this”
Ten years later I saw him again and he was the same old Mr nunns!!!
    I’ll miss yeah.
    Rest well my friend

Very sorry to hear, always such a free spirit , remembered by many students he not only taught in a classroom but mentored through his “psycho training” fitness programs , not only a teacher but also our friend.
