Glen George

Glen George

May 13, 1949  ~   Jan 15, 2024

We are very sad to announce the passing of Glen Samuel George.

Glen was born in Curepe, Trinidad and Tobago, to parents Cyril and Dora George. He migrated to Canada in 1985 to reunite with his teenage love, Joy.

Glens legacy lives through his children: Susan, Shena, Michelle, Allister, Colin, Marc and Renee.

And his grandchildren: Anesia, Shakil, Gabby, Christina, Malakai, Maliya, Xavier, Frances, Ayana and Zaiya.

Glen is survived by his Siblings: Jean, Veronica, Clive, Patricia, Mary, Glenda, Ingrid, Steve, Portia, Felix, Willie, Cyril, Don, Clyde and Lystra.

He is also survived by many neices and nephews who loved him dearly.

Glen was referred to as “the man who never lost an argument.” His friends loved and hated this passion about him. He was also known for his skills in playing cards and referred to himself as “the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be.”

Glen was self-sacrificing, he was always ready to help others, even against the advice of his loved ones. Glen never held a grudge, regardless of perspective. He taught us even after an argument, we must stay united as that’s where strength exists.

Glen passed away on January 15th, 2024, at the age of 74. Prior to his passing, Glen expressed that he wanted everyone to know that he was a good man.
