Mohare, Prabhavati
The beloved Prabhavati Mohare passed away peacefully with her daughter Sharmila by her bedside on Sunday, April 19th 2020. She was the daughter of Bhimanagouda and Basavannawa Patil and sister to her three brothers, Shashi, Vijay, and Shivangouda Patil. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her late husband, Chandrakant; her children, Sharmila and Rajesh; and her grandchildren, Ishta, Jaya, and Kai. Prabha was a very strong, loving, beautiful and kind woman. Prabha was well-known for her South Asian cuisine and shared her love for spice and flavours with her family and friends, always bringing her loved ones together. She was well-travelled raising her family in many parts of the world such as, India, Nigeria, and Canada. She loved exploring new places around the world with Chandra, Rajesh, and Sharmila. Her patience and nurturing spirit will continue to guide her children and grandchildren through life. We love you Mommy and Ajji.
Prabha was a resident at the Cawthra Gardens Long-Term Care Residence and was cared for by the devoted health care team for many years. In lieu of flowers, donations to Conquer Covid-19 would be appreciated by the family to ensure frontline workers have access to PPE and other supplies that are essential in treating patients during this unprecedented time.
