Beverly Marie Paula McNicol (nee Shortt)

July 31, 1941 ~ April 14, 2024

Beverly passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on April 14th, 2024, in her 83rd year.
Beverly worked for 20+ years at the W. Ross Macdonald school where she retired in 2012. Her years at W. Ross gave her many amazing memories and friendships. She spoke highly of her years at W. Ross and her fondness of the many students in both the Deafblind program where she worked as a Deafblind Intervenor and Elementary where she worked as an Administrative Assistant. When she shared her memories, a smile was always present.
Beverly was an avid boater and a member of the Port Dover Yacht Club for over 30 years. She was the captain of 4 boats during this time.
Beverly leaves behind her daughter Sherry and son Steven.
Beverly had many close friendships over the years that became her extended family.
She will be fondly remembered and missed by all.
At Beverly’s request cremation has taken place. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.

    Dear Sherry & Steven.
    We had a lot of wonderful times with Bev and her Family over the years at the PDYC. She loved boating and traveling over to Erie in the summer.
    She will be missed by everyone!
    Sherry you are a wonderful daughter taking care of your mother . She loved and appreciated your help and friendship over the years.
    Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
