McLagan, Joyce

Joyce McLagan
April 20th, 1952 – April 20th, 2024

A mom, sister, grandma, and great grandma. Joyce passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on her 72nd birthday after fighting a short yet intense battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her friends & family.

Joyce is survived by her two siblings. Gail (Euso), Glen (Doris), and predeceased by her sister Donna (Jim), as well as her life partner Colin. Survived by her three children. Linda (Ron), Mike, and Christine (Paul). Her grand children: Elisha (Jon), Brian (Devon), Madeline (Walter), Sarah (Nick), and Brayden (Lydia). She was also a great-grandma to her six beautiful great grand children – Wesley & Cecilia, Ava & Evan, Jane, and Elijah. Survived by long time friend Janet Godin.

Joyce was always full of spunk, and had no problem saying how she really felt. It was her way of showing everyone she loved them. She loved a good cup of tea and a cross word to pass some time. She fought a battle with cancer that eventually took her from us. We will cherish the moments and memories we got to spend with her during her years.

We have honoured Joyce’s wishes of being cremated. She will be greatly missed by her loving family & friends, and will continue to live on in our hearts.

“Mom, your life was a blessing. Your memory was a treasure, you are loved beyond words, and missed beyond measures”
