Bryan Matthews
1937-2022
Bryan passed away peacefully at home on January 8, 2022 surrounded by his family. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Joan of 62 years, daughters, Lori (Bruce), Lisa (Neven), Lynn (Terry), grandchildren, Justin, Kurtis, Jordon, Joel, Johnathon and the late Jeffrey, and great grand daughters Prudence and Elizabeth. Bryan will be sadly missed by family and friends. The family would like to thank the PSW’s, palliative care nurses and doctor who cared for him. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of your choice in memory of Bryan. A private service will be held for immediate family only due to Covid.Please note: all condolences are reviewed before they appear publicly on the obituary page.

Dear Joan and Family,
Our heartfelt condolences on Bryan’s passing. Our cherished cottage neighbour for over 24 years, we certainly have missed Bryan for the last 2 years or so when he was unable to visit his beloved Brandy Lake retreat. The lake will not be the same without Bryan, we will miss his pipe and aromatic tobacco, his expert helpfulness when needed and his friendship with both Andrea and I.
