Margaret Francis (nee Jarrett) Tamm
TAMM, Margaret Francis (nee Jarrett) – (1951 – 2016) In her 65th year on February 25, 2016, at the Brantford General Palliative Care Unit after a courageous battle with Cancer. Beloved wife and friend of Lembit Tamm, loving mother of Jeremy (Nancy), and Sean (Natalie), and loved sister of Sue Raynor (John), Janet Engbers (Pete), and Anne Vernon (Rick). Friend of many! Predeceased by her parents, Allen Edwin and Shirley (nee Machum), Jarrett. Marg was a lover of family, good friends, textiles, books, art, travel, and critters of all kinds. She was a teacher with the Grand Erie Board. She was a longstanding member of Brant Heddle Hummers Weavers and Spinners, Brant Embroidery Guild and the Brantford Quilters Guild. She was the creator of many beautiful textiles which will remain memories for many! Our heartfelt thanks for the efforts of Dr. Ronan Foley and his team at the Juravinski Cancer Clinic, CCAC nurse Irena, and the staff at the Palliative Care unit at BGH. In accordance with Marg’s wishes, cremation has already taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Etonia United Church in Etonia, 101 Brant County Hwy 2, (south side) near the Blenheim Rd intersection between Paris and Princeton, at 11:00 AM. Marg the sailor, would tell you to put L 43 10′ 22 N. Lo 80 28′ 19 W in your GPS.

Mary and I were profoundly saddened by the news of Marg’s passing. We know she will be sorely missed. At every encounter, Marg seemed to be eternally friendly and rarely provided a hint of what she was going through. We’re sure that there is a wealth of memories to help fill the absence in your lives. And these memories and the support of, and by family, will bring you through. You are in our thoughts, and we hope to see you soon.

Sincere condolences to the family on the loss of dear Margaret. I got to know Marg through the Brant Broders Embroidery Guild. She was tremendously talented with her embroideries, quilting, beading and other crafts. I will always remember Marg with a smile. Her presence will be very much missed. May she rest in peace.
