In Loving Memory of Laura Keenan
Laura Keenan passed away at home, on the morning of June 2, 2026 at the age of 39.
Laura was born on January 20, 1987 to Christine Easton (m. Dean Easton) and Robert Keenan (m. Beverley Riemersma-Keenan).
Laura’s happy and sweet disposition made her a joy to be around.
Laura attended St. Johns College and graduated from Allanti School of Hairstyling and Esthetics. She not only brought beauty to this world, but helped others find the beauty within themselves.
By far her greatest source of pride and joy was her girls. Mackenzie and Mia made her life complete. Never missing an opportunity to tell others just how proud she was of both of them. She was lucky enough to have some bonus kids, Liam Moriah, and a bonus daughter Moirah.
Spending time with Laura was magically chaotic, her quick wit and sense of humour guaranteed your ribs would be sore from laughter. Always one to share and make people feel welcome, her tenacious spirit and devotion to her family will never leave us.
In lieu of a funeral service, a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.

Laura was a sweet kind girl. I have many fond memories and we’re going to miss when she was younger playing with my daughter. In recent years we reconnected and we loved her sense of humor in her heart. She was a joy to be around. She’ll be missed greatly by me. Love and prayers to all the family

My sincere condolences. Laura will be missed by many friends and family. My thoughts and prayers are with the family, especially Mackenzie, Mia, Christine and Dean. Very difficult to deal with all the emotions of losing a child.

Such a great neighbour who was so kind to me & my dog whenever we went on a walk and passed her home, offering treats/pets and conversation without hesitation.

Laura was like my little sister from when we were just 7 and 9 years old. Our mom were and still are best friends. Living around the corner, I spent alot of time in the pool their. We played “mermaids” lol Even just hanging out at the park when we got a little older, we always had fun playing some kind of make believe games. She was very imaginative. We would hang out at my place playing on the many different Nintendo systems throughout our teens and as adults, still kept in touch. Just a couple months ago, she told me she wanted to go for a ride. Didn’t care where…just wanted a drive and visit. So, I picked her up and just drove. Had so many laughs my tummy actually did hurt when I got home. Her laugh was contagious. Always in a positive mood even when life got tough. She was so proud if her girls. Told me all about them. They were her life. I have so many memories I could go on and on and on but I am still in a bit of shock that my Lil sister is gone forever. Always in my heart. Thanks for so many good memories! Oh, and all the times we would drive her brother Rob nuts lol Thats what families for! Not by blood but by choice. And I am so glad our moms met. You were taken way to soon. My condolences go to her family and other friends who will miss her as much as me. Love u forever! Your big sis, Chelsea.

Being so close with her daughter naturally led me to meeting Laura. This woman never failed to make me feel welcome in her home, she was always willing to sit down and listen to what I had to say and she always had a big smile on her face for me. A lovely soul gone too soon, she will be heavily missed. ❤️
