KAREK, Stephen January 5, 1921 – May 13, 2016. Passed away peacefully in his 96th year at John Noble Home. Loving husband of Emily. Dad to Maryann (Bill) Chester (Gillian) Edward (Mary) and Richard (Denise). Dziadzia to CJ (Shari Ann) Derek (Veronica) Jessica Clinton Paige Brooke Neil (Meg) Billy Aimee (Erin) and Ashleigh. Great Dziadzia to Terra Madison Julianna Sophia Justin Mason Jayden Faith and Alec. Predeceased by his parents and brothers, Bill and Felix. At Stephen’s request cremation has taken place. A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held on Sunday May 29 at 399 Pleasant Ridge Rd Brant from 1 to 4 pm. The family would like to thank the caring staff at John Noble Home Brant Terrace for their special care and patience during his stay and the CNIB for the support given to him over the last couple of years. I am sorry to hear of the passing and loss of Steve and that I was not able to see him one more time. I am sending my condolences and best wishes to all the family, Chester, Gill, Maryann, Bill, Eddy, Mary and Richie and all the grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all including myself. I will have many happy memories of him of his banter, jokes and knowledge of the outdoors
