Laura May Gray
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laura Gray, age 63. on Monday, February 16th at the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton. Laura fought her five year battle with cancer with bravery, strength and determination.
Laura is survived by her beloved husband and best friend Dan Schulze. Devoted and loving mother to Brendan Machmer (Megan) and Trevor Machmer (Emma) and her cherished grandson Everett. Predeceased by her son Sean Machmer who tragically passed March 2025. Laura is also survived by her sister Coleen Hreno (George) and her niece and nephew. Laura is now at peace with Sean and her parents Norah and Alex Gray.
Rest in Peace Laura. You will be forever missed by everyone who loved you.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial will be held in the future. Donations in Laura’s memory can be sent to the Cancer Assistance Program, 555 Concession Street, Hamilton, Ontario, L8V 1A8 or online on their website.
