With profound sadness, we share that Jeffrey “Jeff” Ludlow passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the age of 56. Jeff was the devoted husband of Karen for 26 years, loving father of Jessica (Eric), Janie, and Ethan, and proud Poppa to Eve and Flora, who filled his heart with pride and laughter.

He will be deeply missed by his sister Roberta (Eva). Jeff is also survived by his brother Jon and father John. Jeff will be fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Joyce Holgate, and by his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He is predeceased by his mother Eleanor, and by his sisters Laura and Jill, who have surely welcomed him with love and light.

Jeff was funny, sharp-witted, and known for his quick comebacks. He loved to tease and make people laugh, always ready with a joke or a playful remark. He had a lifelong love of music and a creative side that shone through his passion for graphic design. From childhood, Jeff was often found sketching or drawing, bringing his imagination to life through art. He loved playing baseball and football, and his humor and energy made him unforgettable.

Though he could be complicated, Jeff had a deep sensitivity and a kind heart. His favorite saying — tattooed on his arm — was “Wherever life takes you, I will be there.” Those words capture the loyalty and quiet love that defined him, and the lasting connection he leaves behind.

Forever in our hearts, Jeff will never be forgotten.
