It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Gord, our cherished
Hubby for almost 49 years, beloved Dad and amazing Papa.
Gord is survived by his soulmate and wife Ginny, children Laura Spencer (Stephen
Skodis) and Scott Harris (Jill Hopkins), grandkids Haylee Spencer (Scott
Peters), Sam and Max Harris, Olivia Skodis, Xavier, Sawyer and Avery Hopkins.
He will be terribly missed by his sister Shirley Martin (N.B.),his brother John Maich (Nancy), sister-in-law
Debi Dillabough (Jim)(Durham), his nieces, nephews and so many friends and
extended family.
His passing leaves a huge hole in our lives that can never be filled. He was a
truly wonderful, kind, compassionate man and we will love and miss him forever.
We would like to thank Dr. Jerry Hsiao for so many years of caring and
friendship, the Brantford Fire Department, Paramedics (esp. Tim) and Brantford
Police Constable Andrejko for your valiant attempts to save Gord. Your
kindness will never be forgotten. Cremation has taken place as Gord wished.
There will be a private family internment and later in the spring.
Gord’s Celebration of Life will be held in the pavilion at Mohawk Park on Saturday May 27th from 1-4 p.m.Please bring your memories of our wonderful guy.
Refreshments will be provided. Memorial
donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
