Peacefully at Allendale in Milton, in her 89th year, on December 24th 2011. Beloved wife of the late Murray Handy. Mother of Linda Dyck (Lee), Marilyn Eldridge (John Lumbers), and Douglas (Janet). Loving Grandmother of Sandra Goncalves (Nelson), Karlee and Meagan Handy, and Great-Grandmother of Justin Goncalves. In accordance with our Mother’s wishes, a private family burial has taken place

    Mrs. Handy. Although it was way too long since we last saw each other, you were often on my mind and will always be my “2nd mom”. Memories of my time as a “Handy” are remembered with a smile and warmth in my heart. Thank you for treating me like one of yours. Linda, Marilyn, Doug, you were very lucky to have a mom (grandmother) as wonderful, loving, caring and generous as she was. My condolences to you & yours.

    Gone but not forgotten. The last few years have been a struggle for you but you handled it with grace.
