In Loving Memory of Geraldine “Geri” Goodacre
June 13, 1951 – July 18, 2026
With broken hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Gerraldine “Geri” Goodacre on July 18, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on June 13, 1951, Geri lived a life anchored by love, laughter, and an unwavering devotion to the people she cherished most. She is now beautifully reunited with her beloved husband, Dave Sr., whom she missed dearly.
Geri’s legacy of love lives on through her family. She is survived by her son, Dave (Tobilynn); her stepdaughter, Sheri; and her cherished grandchildren, Leah and Jacob, along with Angela, Wesley, and Kerry. She also leaves behind her great-grandchildren; her sister, Val; her brothers, Jack, Rick, Bryan, and Dave; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

To know Geri was to know a wonderful, infectious sense of humour. She loved nothing more than making others smile, laughing easily, and finding joy in life’s quiet moments. An avid collector, she found happiness in the pages of her books, the warm glow of her beautiful oil lamps, and the thrill of anything Dale Earnhardt.
Above all, Geri’s grandchildren were the absolute light of her life. Whether she was sharing stories, spending quiet time together, or proudly watching them grow, the special bond they shared will never be forgotten. While our hearts are heavy with this profound loss, we are endlessly grateful for every hug, every joke, and every memory. Geri’s vibrant spirit will always be felt on race day, in the pages of a good book, and in the laughter of her grandchildren. She will be forever loved, always remembered, and deeply missed.
As was her wish, cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced at a future date.
