Francis Scicluna
March 16, 1944 – June 2, 2026
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Francis Scicluna on June 2, 2026,
in Toronto, Ontario, at the age of 82.
Born in Malta on March 16, 1944, Francis was the beloved son of the late Anthony and Lucy Scicluna. He was a cherished brother to George, Joseph, Paul, Carmen, Mary, and Doris, and remained deeply connected to the family he loved throughout his life.
Francis was a devoted father to his daughter Tessie, her husband Casy, his son Timothy and their brother Mario. He was a proud and loving grandfather to Julianna, Sophia, Olivia, and Vincent. His family was the centre of his world, and he found great joy in spending time with them, sharing stories, laughter, and celebrating their accomplishments.
Those who knew Francis will remember his playful sense of humour and love of practical jokes. He had a gift for bringing laughter into everyday moments and delighted in keeping family and friends smiling with his mischievous spirit and quick wit.
Francis found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed cooking delicious meals, tending to his garden, taking long walks, and watching airplanes soar through the sky. Many evenings were spent relaxing with a cup of tea while enjoying his favourite television programs, especially alien documentaries and CSI.
He dedicated many years of service to CP Rail. Following an aneurysm that left him with a disability, he was forced to retire earlier than planned. Despite the challenges he faced, Francis met life with resilience, determination, courage, and a sense of humour that never left him.
Francis leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, kindness, perseverance, and strength. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
Forever loved, always remembered, and never forgotten.

My Uncle Frank was one of the funniest people I have ever known. I have so many wonderful memories of him from my childhood. He lived with my family for many years and was an incredible cook. One of my favorite memories was always looking forward to his delicious oven-baked rice.
Uncle Frank, my cousin Tim, and I would often go to Red Lobster together, where we shared great meals, lots of laughter, and unforgettable moments. I loved him like a father, and he held a very special place in my heart.
I take comfort in knowing that he is now in a better place, reunited with his brother Paul. God bless you always, Uncle Frank. I will love and miss you forever. ❤️

He will always live with in us look into his children eyes and his grandchildren. He fought the first battle and he won. Now his second battle was when God saw him suffer and called upon him. He will never be forgotten always in our hearts Rest in Peace. Till we meet again.
