Donald “Tony” Fortuna
January 1st 1941- January 7th 2017
Dad passed away peacefully in hospital after a brief battle with lung cancer on January 7, 2017 at the age of 76. Born in Hamilton to George and Elizabeth (O’Brien) Fortuna. He was the youngest of 10 children. He is survived by his dear friend and companion Donna Stoltz. His daughter Kelly (Jon), son Steven and grandchildren Jack, Cohen and Lily. Also sisters Pat, Margaret and Sheila. Many nieces, nephews and friends.
Dad spent the last few years of his life enjoying a good game of pool with a cold glass of beer and good company. Especially the company of his grandchildren who he cherished deeply. Dad loved to collect coins and rare finds of WW1 and WW2 memorabilia.
In keeping with dad’s wishes there will be no funeral.Cremation has taken place. There will be a private family service and internment to follow.
He was loved and he will be forever missed.
