Anna Elda Vidale

The soul of our family may have left us in body but will forever be with us in spirit and in our hearts. A hero and inspiration to all who knew her.

Finally reunited with Risveglio, the love of her life who left us in 1965. Despite conquering many hardships, Anna’s motto was, “It could be better, but it could always be worse”.

Her career included chief caterer for Panasonic and Revlon companies. Celebrated by family and friends for her Italian Cuisine, especially the famous Minestrone and one of a kind “Sugo”. Mama’s grand gardens were renowned in her neighbourhood, her green thumb toiling away spring and summer day and night. She was a talented seamstress and also took pride in her knitting and crocheting  projects. Dedicated mother to Franco, Gabriella and Sergio (Rosanne).  Cherished Nonna  to Dion (Melissa), Paolo, Jason, Cameron, Ryan (Andria), Rene (Amanda), Sean and Leah. Loving Bisnonna to Kyle, Hayley, Paxton, Nicholas, Everleigh and Joshua. Her family was her life. She will be remembered for her wisdom, intelligence, sassy humour and generosity.Anna’s wish was to be cremated and flown to Italy where she will rest in peace alongside her husband, mother and other family members  in the cemetery in Rigolato, Italy where she is surrounded by majestic mountains and stunning scenery.  Fondly remembered by her sisters Mery, Graziana, Rina, brother-in-law Enzo and nieces and nephews  in Italy.Heartfelt appreciation goes out to the compassionate staff at The Davis Centre.  As expressions of sympathy memorial donations would be appreciated to The Davis Centre or The Alzheimer’s Society of Ontario. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 22, 2019 at 2pm at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church 625 Atwater Ave. Mississauga with reception following. In September she will make her final trip to Italy. We miss you so much Mama!
