Born May 7th, 1965, Passed Away October 9th, 2026, with her family by her side in hospital.
Dianna was previously deceased by her Mother Sandra Wakeford (Kimpel), stepfather Abe Mayman, Father Edgar Wakeford, Aunts Pat and Paula, Alfie and Uncles Doug and John. Mother-in-law Marie Somerton, Father-in-law Gerald Somerton.
Leaving to mourn her husband of 22 years James Somerton, sons David (Steph) Matt (Leigh Anne), Jim (Mavis), daughters Angie, Kim. Grand children: Joey, Becca (Dave), Nicholas (Destiny), Nathan, MacKenzie, Neleh and Ali.Great grand children: Luna, Bria and twins Aiden and Quinn. Niece Teri-Ann (Bryan), Nephews Adam and Brad and Great Nephews Carson and Cody, and Great Niece Olivia.
Dianna is also, survived by sisters Dar (George) and Penny (Paul). Sister in law and Brother in laws Keith, Debbie (Randy), Paula, Paul (Ellen), Barb (Dave), Sandra (Fabian) Also survived by her Aunts Sister Martin De Porres and Dorthy Ruller. and numerous cousins across Canada as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces back in Newfoundland.
Dianna worked with a lot of people over the years. Big shout out to the PSW’s that helped us over the last seven years, Gordana, Marta and Jenny. Also, we would like to thank the Drs, Nurses, PSW’s, staff from St. Mary’s Hospital, Grand River Hospital and Freeport Hospital.
A special Thank You to St Mary’s Hospital for making her last days as comfortable as possible.
