It is with shattered hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful Wife, Mom, Sister & Nana, Gayle Marie DeVuyst (Adams) in her 74th year at home on Saturday June 24, 2023 in Brantford.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 55 years, Norman DeVuyst, loving Mother to her daughter’s, Deanne (Lee Clark) and Michelle (Dave Dougherty). Nana’s love for her grandchildren will forever be in their hearts, Chantelle (Doug), Tanner, Matthew, Octavia (Blake), Adam (Anastasia), Michael (Genna), Lucca & Devin, and her 3 step grandsons Cooper & Cruz & Shawn. Gayle leaves behind her sister, Carole Seib (Jacques) of Port Rowan and her two nieces Christine & Catherine and many other extended family members.
Gayle was born & raised in Paris, Ontario and is reunited with her parents Glenn (1998) & Janet (2010) Adams.
Mom & Dad enjoyed many trips to Myrtle Beach & Cuba together through the years with family and friends. Mom enjoyed crocheting many afgans, spending time in the garden, reading a good book and spending time with her family & friends. Her furbaby Casper will miss her immensely.
Cremation has taken place. A “PRIVATE” Celebration of Life (invitation only) will be held at Smokey Hollow Club House.
