Demers, Rosa

Rosa Demers

July 31, 1946 ~ November 13, 2023

After a long, hard, brave and strong fight against cancer, Rosa passed away in peace, no longer suffering and battling her physical pain on the evening of Monday, November 13th, 2023 at the age of 77 in Palliative Care at Brantford General Hospital surrounded by her close family and friends.

Born in Monopoly, Italy, Rosa was loved dearly by her family and friends.

Rosa was an extremely loving mother of Lisa (Derrick) and her late son John. She was a loving Nonna (Grandma) of her Granddaughters Vanessa and  late Gina, a loving sister and Zia (Aunt) to her nieces and nephews and a loving, dear friend to John who was supportive, loving and dear to her. Rosa loved her friends near and far, both in Florida, and in her community and hometown of Brantford, Ontario, including all those at the Knights.

Rosa’s smile, love for life and sense of humour will be deeply missed by all her family and friends here in Ontario and in Florida.

No services will be held. She would love you to celebrate her life and fond memories with a smile, as she always did,

when you raise a toast or shuffle your cards.

Rest in peace Mamma…we love and miss you dearly already. XOXO

❤

I send my sincere condolences during this time of sorrow. The Bible promises that your loved one will live again on a beautiful paradise earth when death will be no more. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4)
