David “Felix” Edwards
1952 – 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David “Felix” Edwards, in his 74th year, on Thursday May 14th at St. Josephs Hospital. David is survived by his brothers William (Alie), Peter (Marg), Fred (Joyce), Robert (Jacqueline), his sister Anne, and his lifelong friend Mary Wilde.
David worked, as a millwright, at Stelco (Hilton works) until his motorcycle accident in 1982. Felix was a lifetime member of the original Red Devils MC and Bacchus MC. He was a longtime member of the Moose lodge #1142.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a celebration of Life at the Moose Lodge 1860 Barton St. E. on Sunday June 7, 2026 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday June 13 a ride for Felix will take place, followed by a further celebration of Life at 30 Arden Ave. 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Felix, I am so thankful that you had a huge part of my story, I don’t know who I would have been, without you? You were tough, loyal, protective and funny. No guessing with you, if you liked someone,they knew it, if you didn’t, well, they knew that too. Your word was important to you, and that’s how you lived your life. You expected others to have that same code.
I heard that some people, leave fingerprints on your soul forever.

Well Felix I’m sure by now you’re up there at that fishing hole with your good buddies Ben and Gord. You will be so missed especially by Ron. You told me you loved him like a son and he loved and respected you so much. You’re finally out of that terrible pain. We love you Felix.
