Michael Gerard Cresswell
September 17, 1959 – December 13, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Gerard Cresswell. Michael passed away peacefully in Mississauga on Friday, December 13th, 2024 at the age of 65.
Loving husband of 36 years to Jacinta. Dear father of Jennifer and Joaquim. Cherished brother of Carlyle (Ellen). Michael will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his sisters, Mabel (John) and Lorraine (survived by Kenneth), and his parents, Blanche and Edgard.
Michael was born to Blanche and Edgard in Karachi, Pakistan on September 17, 1959 before making his loving home in Canada.
Michael was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus and was known to be goal-oriented and determined. He was also a family man that could always be counted on for support, protection and guidance. Michael enjoyed fishing, golf and photography. He touched many lives and will be missed dearly by everyone that knew him.
The family would like to thank Credit Valley Hospital and their staff for their diligent, professional and compassionate care of Michael.
Memorial Mass will take place on Friday January 10, 2025 at 11am at St. Christopher’s Roman Catholic Church (1171 Clarkson Rd N, Mississauga, ON L5J 2W1).

Reception is to follow in the church hall.
In leu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mississauga Compass Food Bank.
Michael will be laid to rest at a later date.

It is with sadness that I extend my heartfelt sympathy on the sad passing of dear Michael. Michael had an infectious humorous nature that I remember when I think of him through the years. May his journey be blessed and may he rest in peace in the arms of sweet Jesus.
