COOMBS, Brennan Paul

October 4, 1984 – October 9, 2022

It is with profound sadness the family announces the unexpected passing of Brennan at the age of 38.  He leaves behind the loves of his life, his children; Mya, Baustin, and Leilin. Loving son of Carol Kerr and Paul Coombs.  Dear brother of Lauren and Tyler Coombs.  Brennan will also be lovingly remembered by his niece Faith, his nephews  Riley and James and his mother-in-law Gayle Myke, who is a loving caregiver for Brennan’s children.   He will also be missed by Kerri Myke, the mother of his children, several aunts, uncles, cousins and many other extended family members and friends.  Brennan spent the last few years of his life trying to help others and made many good friends at Wayside House.  A special thank you to his mentors there.

A Celebration of Brennan’s life will be held on Sunday, October 23rd, 2022, from 1:00 – 4:00pm at the Brantford Artillery Gunners Club, 115 Henry Street, Brantford. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wayside House Hamilton would be greatly appreciated by the family.

I’m sorry we all lost touch when our parents split. But I never stopped looking up to you. All 3 of you. You were my big brother. I’ll never forget making forts in the living room, playing Super Nintendo or flashlight tag in the basement. You and Ty wrestling in the living room. Spitting watermelon seeds off the deck to see who could get them furthest. Playing football in the backyard. The summer you built the patio out back and how sunburnt you got. I wish we had more time as adults to get to know each other and make more memories. But I know I’m lucky for the ones we have. You will be greatly missed.
