CHURCH: Ruth Agnes (Ewing)- Peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in her 92nd year. Daughter of the late Russell and Olive (Rung) Ewing. Wife of the late Douglas Church. Loving mother of Diane (2015) and Bruce (2013) Cronkite, Patricia and Norm (2016) Heastont, Robert (Helena) Church and Jim (Donna) Church. Dear grandmother to Laura (Bruce) Feeney, Joe (Stacie) Heastont, Shane (Charmaine) Gowan, Chris (Jennifer) Gowan, Conrad Church, Curtis Church, Jason (Jennifer) Church, Jennifer (Josh) DeWaard ,15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Ruth is survived by her brother Jack (Inga) Ewing. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers-in-law Kathleen (Clayton) Locke, Dorothy (Roy) Farren and brothers and sisters-in-law Alex (Vi) Ewing and Don (Myrtle) Ewing. Ruth worked at the West Haldimand General Hospital, Hagersville for many years. As per Ruth’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life service will take place on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 1-4 p.m. at the Jarvis Lions Community Centre . The family wishes to Thank Dr. Miller and the Staff at the Norfolk General Hospital on 3B, 4B Palliative care and the Staff at Leisure Living, your kindness was appreciated.
