William passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at the age of 84.
Beloved husband of Louise Ann Christie (nee Colling) for 65 years.
Loving father of Michael (Loree) and Mark (Bev). Proud grandfather of Charlotte Ann, Casey Elizabeth, Vivian, Alex and Elayna.
Much loved brother-in-law of Paul Swanson.
He will also be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
William was predeceased by his parents William and Winnifred as well as his sister Helen Swanson.
He was a former employee of WCI in Cambridge.
At William’s request, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. Interment will take place in the Eternal Peace Gardens at Mount Hope Cemetery, Brantford.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
Bill Is a man I will truly miss. he shared much of his wisdom and we have had many conversations about camping and traveling. He showed he was a devoted spouse to Ann,
