Evelyn Jean Carriere (McDougall) May 8 1938 – June 6 2019

Mom died peacefully in her sleep at Trillium Health Mississauga.  Still sharing love with her mom is daughter Brenda, grandchildren, Leah Anne, Kyle, Amanda and Nicole and great grandchildren Ian, Aidan, Elowen, Skylar, Sadie and Taylor. Evelyn is held within the loving arms of God, the universe, her husband John, son Greg, sister Juanita and her parents Irvin and Thelma. Dearly loved by sister Joyce and her husband Jim, her brother Jim and his wife Marg and sister Roberta and their families, sister in law Elizabeth and her family and brother in law Larry, wife Marietta and their family. Many aunts, uncles and cousins and friends also miss and loved her greatly. Her church family was very important to her.

Service is Saturday, June 29 at Applewood United Church, 2067 Stanfield Road Mississauga. Family will greet friends at 1 p.m. and Celebration of Life at 2 p.m. Refreshments follow. Extra parking available on Hedge, Melton and Macintosh.

    Evelyn was such a special lady and so active in community organizations especially the Alzheimer’s Society. Her smile was so contagious and her faith so deep. She will be forever missed.
    We’re sorry we will not be with you on the 29th but our thoughts and prayer swill be with you all.
