CAMPBELL, Shirley “Marie” – peacefully with her family by her side holding hands on Friday March 10, 2017 in her 78th year. Loving wife and best friend for 54 years to Jack (predeceased April 12, 2013). Daughter of the late Betty and David Lindsay of London. Treasured mother of daughter Kathy and special son-in-law Don MacIver. Predeceased by sons David and Brad Campbell and grandson Bradley Campbell. Cherished grandmother to Justin(Diana), Brandon (Janet), Tyler (Chayli), Ian (Jenn), Crystal, Carl and Ricky. Proud g. grandmother (GG) to Amelia, Daphne and Avery plus (baby brother or sister on the way). Predeceased by brother-in-law Keith, Jerry, Duff and sister-in-law Phyllis, Betty, Shirley and Terry. Loving sister-in-law of Les (Brenda), Sharon (Don), Donna (Don), June (Richard), Helen and Ron. Blessed with many nieces and nephews. Marie was a homemaker for many years then worked for the Red Cross as a health care aide over 10 years and enjoyed helping others, going over and above her normal duties. “Sweet Marie” enjoyed family gatherings, Blue Jays, Toronto Maple Leafs and just relaxing out at the trailer. Her shining spirit touched many in her own special way that will be truly missed. Cremation has taken place. A heartfelt thanks to Dr. Manning and the wonderful staff of St. Josephs Lifecare Centre for their special compassionate care. Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation. A service for Marie will be held at Sydenham-Heritage United Church at 120 Sydenham St. Brantford on Thursday March 16, 2017 at 1:00p.m.

    Rick and I were terribly sorry to hear of Marie’s passing. Rick shared some lovely memories with me about “Aunt Marie” and she sounds like one lovely lady. Love and prayers…Rick and Tracey. God Bless.

    Richard and I send our sympathy and love at this sad time. Jack and Marie were very special to us and Marie will be missed as much as we still miss Jack. We will try our best to be there on Thursday. XO
