It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael James Body age 76 on March 26, 2025.
Michael James Body was born on December 1,1948 and lived a life marked by being loving, caring and proud of his family. He built his own home and took great pride in that. Mike was a very giving person that helped whomever he could and always wished he could do more. He worked hard all his life and enjoyed 10 years of retirement. His love for his family will be felt and cherished forever. Mike is survived by his common law Linda Blanchard, his daughters Laura, Kelly and Suzann. Father figure to Eric, Jack and Adam. Mike was a loving grandfather to many and a great grandfather to many as well. God father to Jack, Miranda and also Timothy. Uncle to Frank, Sharon, Tammy and Tommy. Michael Body was predeceased by his wife Janet Body his brother George Body and his sister June Taylor.
The family will be holding a small service outside on April 5th, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. John’s Cemetery and Crematorium 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga .
Rest in peace Michael Body. You will be missed by all who knew you and loved you. You enriched our lives in so many ways.

Mike’s quiet, kind-hearted nature and caring spirit came through very clearly in the few interactions we had as neighbours over the years. He would appear as if out of thin air whenever he saw an opportunity to help, or buy brownie cookies from the kids 🙂. We will all remember him fondly. Our heartfelt condolences to all of his loved ones
