Betty Louise Mitchell
October 12, 1941 ~ April 1, 2023
Betty Louise Mitchell (nee Ramsey) passed away on April 1st, 2023, at Brantford General Hospital in her 82nd year. Born in Teeterville, Ontario in 1941 to Dorothy and Charles Ramsey, Betty was one of seven children. Predeceased by both parents, her brothers Rudy and Norman, sister Barbara and recently by her partner Bill. Survived by her daughter Susan Hodgins (nee Mitchell), her sister Shirley Hesp (Murray), brothers Baxter Ramsey (June) and Bill Ramsey (Gail), as well as many nieces and nephews. Betty was also blessed with many cousins in Ontario and Virginia, USA who will miss her greatly.
Betty was employed in the Financial Services Industry for 30 years with CIBC, followed by many years as a Croupier at Brantford Casino. She loved playing cards and slots, travelling and reading. We would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at Brantford General Hospital for their care and compassion through this difficult time. She has been cremated at her request and asks that John Noble Home be remembered for any donations.
A Celebration of Life will be held for friends and family to share some stories and laughs about our dear Betty on Sunday, April 23rd, 2023 from 1-400pm at the Brantford Navy Club, 54 Wadsworth St., Brantford.
