In Loving Memory of Austin James Wiebe
April 4, 2005 – July 19, 2026
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Austin James Wiebe on July 19, 2026, in Brantford, Ontario, at the age of 21. Born at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital, and raised in Brant County, Austin was a smart, funny, and deeply compassionate young man. He believed in kindness above all else—often demonstrating this by shoveling snow for elderly neighbors and always reaching out to support his loved ones. Austin loved nature, would spend hours fishing, he loved music, art, and challenging his siblings at video games. Though he fought silent struggles, he carried himself with quiet strength, resilience, and a deep love for those around him.
Austin is lovingly remembered by his son, Tygi Mullen (Ashley Mullen); his girlfriend, Kai Rishaur; his mother, Anna Wiebe, her husband Agam Gill; His grandparents Helena Wiebe, Maureen Crandall, and Anna Guenther, his father, Kenneth Guenther; and his siblings Ashley Ashford (Tyler Fex), Johnathan Ashford (Hannah Hudson), Malcolm, Sheldon, Kitana, and Romen Guenther. He will also be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Austin , you will be missed so much! I will always remember your beautiful eyes and smile , oh how you lit up every room and space you walked into ! Austin, u were a great person and a great friend I’m so glad that i got to call u family I won’t trade in our memories for anything, i remember u used to let me do ur make up and hair and put dresses on because he know James and Johnathan wouldn’t so he always hung out with me so I wasn’t left out and I cherish everything we went through when we were younger I’m glad I got to experience growing up with u and ur family. You always knew how to light up a room. And put smiles on everyone’s faces. You always make sure everyone else was OK. But deep down u weren’t. We all love and miss you, Austin. LLA❤️

Austin you are my light in this world not a single day would go by where you wouldn’t remind me how beautiful I am or that I’m doing my best you always put a smile on my face no matter what. I miss cooking with you and watching new shows and fighting over whose favourite character is better. I miss you leaving ur garbage and ur dirty clothes all over my room. I miss when you would carry me around the house because I was too lazy to walk. I miss watching you cover all ur food in mayonnaise. I miss the way you smell when you come inside from smoking a cigarette. I miss you stealing my clothes and denying it.
