January 23, 1949 – March 30, 2014 After a short battle with cancer, it is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Colin (“Apple”) on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the young age of 65. Survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 36 years Jennifer (nee Crayford). Proud father to Alanna, Samantha and Nigel. Dedicated son of Ornette and Kenneth. Caring brother to Roderick, Orrin, Errol and Yvonne (Laverne). Loving nephew to Joyce and Sheila. Colin will be greatly missed by many family, friends and colleagues in Canada, USA and Guyana. A special thank you to the healthcare team at Juravinski Cancer Centre and St. Joseph’s Hospital. A Celebration of Life will take place on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at MacNab Street Presbyterian Church, 116 MacNab Street South, Hamilton, at 4 p.m., followed by a reception at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your local food bank as Colin had such a love for food, cooking and helping others when in need. “Live for yourself and you will live in vain; live for others, and you will live again” – Bob Marley
