With great sadness, we announce that our beloved Allan John Scott passed away on October 28, 2026, at Norfolk General Hospital after a period of ill health.
Allan was deeply loved and is survived by his children, his grandson, his caring and compassionate ex-wife, his brothers, his cousins, his aunt and uncle, and his dear and caring friends.
A retired long-time employee of Bell Canada, Allan was remembered for his time as a union representative. He was also a long-time member of Hamilton United FC, where he took all the penalties and was typically a high scorer. He always placed the penalty in the bottom right corner and rarely missed.
In his younger years, Allan was an accomplished baritone horn player and a soloist with the Brantford Memorial Band.
Allan loved to cook and entertain. His favourite place was his kitchen.
