Our darling Adrian passed away at home on February 14, 2021, surrounded by his loving family. Adrian was the whole world to his wife, Esperance, and the absolute best father to his daughters, Rochelle and Chantelle, and his much-loved dog, Jolie. We feel like the entire world was put on pause to allow us to take care of him like he always took care of us.
He is predeceased by his parents Monthu and Ledwin D’Souza as well as his brothers Urban, Dennis and Adolf D’Souza, and sister Grace Nazareth. He will be dearly missed by his sister Blanch D’Souza and brother Mervin D’Souza in Mumbai, India, as well as his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, mother-in-law, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours.
Adrian was the embodiment of love, so it was only fitting that he was gifted Valentine’s day for his departure from the world. He cherished his family and close friends above all else and always made time to spend with them and support them. With his infectious smile and joy for life, he never failed to spread love and happiness wherever he went. He was a genuinely kind-hearted, selfless, and joyful man; we will miss him fiercely but know that his memory and spirit will always be with us. He leaves an indelible mark on the hearts of all those around him. Always a man of God, he had an unshakable trust the Lord would provide, and bravely battled his cancer thanking God for his beautiful life.
As a life-long traveler, his ultimate dream was to retire in Goa among the swaying palm trees and the gentle lapping of the sea near our house, sipping a beer and eating fried fish. While he was taken too early, he still spent a wonderful month or two every year in Goa with his family.
A service will be held for him on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Dixie, in Mississauga.

A mass and celebration of life will be held after COVID restrictions are lifted.
In lieu of flowers, we ask that family and friends offer a mass for his soul, or make a donation to Lung Cancer Canada.

I was so devastated when I heard Adrian was battling a horrible disease. He often said ” I am in a lot of pain” His last message was on January 29. 2021 “Thank you for your birthday wishes. I’m still fighting my lung cancer” and I was so happy to see his picture cutting the birthday cake.
We were colleagues in Dubai and have many fond memories of the times we spent together. One such memory will never be forgotten, the fun and laughter we had on our long flight to Johannesburg, where we participated in a travel agent Olympics and the events that followed. We spent many evenings in a sports bar discussing and debating various topics over a glass of beer. He was perpetually optimistic and always had a smile.
We will miss you Adrian, and the good times we spent together. Till we meet again, our dearest friend, rest in eternal peace

Adrian was one of the most caring and compassionate people we have ever met. We were college-mates at KC College Mumbai and became friends due to our sports. He enjoyed life to the fullest, always had a broad smile on his face, was cheerful and loved travelling, especially to Goa.
We feel fortunate that we could spend some time together when he visited us in Pune, India in 2019.

I am fortunate that I was blessed with Adrian as my Uncle, my Dad’s youngest brother whom I fondly called “Appu Uncle”. I have a lot of fond memories of him – the time we spent in Goa and Bombay. God always calls His Angels on Earth back to Him very early. Adrian was one such Angel on this Earth that God Our Father decided to call back to himself. And we are left bereft of the genuine kindness, caring and compassion that Adrian had for everyone. A wonderful and dedicated husband to Espy, and Father to his girls Rochelle and Chantelle, he lived to make his family happy and remove all obstacles from their way. Always went out of his way to make sure people around him were comfortable and well taken care of in his unique, selfless way.
Now we pray that Adrian’s Soul Rests in Eternal Peace with Our Lord, Our Savior. He has taken Adrian home and we look to Him to keep him safe and in Peace.

I’m incredibly fortunate to have called such a beautiful soul a part of my family. As my mom’s brother, he took care of me and my family when we immigrated to Canada. He was a very cheerful, generous and helpful person and was always there for us when we needed him. It is very sad and painful that he left us so early. It is a profound loss for me and my family but I will always cherish his memories and love for us in my heart.

Uncle Adrian was a gem of a person. Most humble, generous, loving, helpful and jovial person I have ever met.He was always ready to help anyone.
