Passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on August 15, 2022 in his 88 th year. Patrick was born in Port Perry, Ontario on March 1, 1935. Beloved and dedicated Father to Kellie, Grandfather to Kayla and Ashley, and dear Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dian (nee Novak), son Bill (owner of Angler’s Pro Shop PA), parents Caroline and Ernest, brothers Harold, Bill, Doug and sisters Dorothy and Helena.
Pat spent his entire career with CIBC, starting work in Trinidad in the late 50’s and continuing his career from the early 60’s at many branches and offices within Canada. Pat loved baseball and played at numerous levels as a catcher. He was an avid outdoorsman spending countless hours “mudcatting” on Lake Scugog as well as numerous remote fishing trips in Canada and around the world. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was always keen to share a good joke.
Pat’s wish was to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held for him at St John’s Dixie Cemetery 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga Ontario on November 21st 2022 at 11am; Donations in his memory may be made to the MS Society of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
