Christina “Tina” Marie Wilson passed away unexpectedly on August 21, 2026, at the young age of 59.
Tina is survived by her beloved husband of 27 years, James “Jim”, her loving son, Dylan and her loving mother, Rosemarie. She will also be deeply missed by her sister, Shelley (Tony); her nieces, Katelyn, Maya, and Caitlin; her nephew, Jaxon; her brother-in-law, Robert; and her sister-in-law, Lisa. Tina will also be lovingly remembered by her many cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and dear friends.
Tina was born in Montreal to her mother, Rosemarie, and her father, Clifford, who passed away in 2023. At the age of 10, Tina moved to St. Catharines, where she would go on to build a life filled with love, family, and lasting friendships.
After meeting Jim at Bissell’s Hideaway, dating and getting married, Tina built her family and created a loving home and community around her in Chippawa. She was a devoted wife, loving mom, beloved daughter, cherished sister, and a treasured friend to many. Her sudden passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Tina had a true love for the simple joys in life. She had a passion for cars, horses, fishing, and camping, always enjoying the adventures and memories made along the way. She also loved nothing more than cuddling with her precious dog, Daisy, who held a very special place in her heart.
A special thank you is extended to all of the first responders and the staff in the Emergency Department at Greater Niagara General Hospital for their compassion, dedication, and tireless efforts. We are deeply grateful for everything they did to help Tina fight for as long as she could.
In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Tranquility Burial & Cremation Services (Niagara) Inc. A Celebration of Tina’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Chippawa Royal Canadian Legion, 3860 Legion St., Niagara Falls, Ontario. Family and friends are welcome to come together to celebrate Tina’s life, share memories, and honour the love, laughter, and memories she leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation or to an organization of your choice would be greatly appreciated. Condolences can be shared at tranquilitycremation.com
Though her time with us was far too short, Tina will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
