ZIONS, Leonard Paul October 15, 1936 – December 12, 2021
In his 86th year, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s disease surrounded by family at Joseph Brant Hospital. Loving husband to Ellen (Penrose). Dear father to Lorie Drew (Greg 2007), Jamie Zions (Irene Grant) both of Burlington, and Lisa Winkler (Scott) of Elora. Much loved grandfather to Darren Zions, Graydon and Iain Drew, and many nieces and nephews. Loving brother to Joseph (Helen) of Toronto and Ted (Shirley) of Eramosa, and brother-in-law to Martha Zions of Mount Forest and Marie Zions of Acton. Predeceased by siblings Frances, Gladys, Stella, Eddie, and Johnny. Long-time employee of Union Gas. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the staff of Joseph Brant Hospital, especially the Emergency, ICU and Palliative Care floors. Cremation has take place.Due to Covid restrictions, a private service will be held . A memorial service/celebration of life will take place at a future date.
