ZABLOCKI, Sherman Randy Dean
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Sherman Randy Dean Zablocki on May 31, 2025, at the Niagara Health System-Welland Site, at the age of 55.
Sherman is lovingly remembered by his eldest brother Joseph Zablocki of Brantford; his fiancée Rochelle Hicks; and his stepsons Deven and Brayden Hicks of Port Colborne. He is also survived by many cousins, including Derrick Sparkes of Brantford, whom Sherman loved as a brother. Sherman will be fondly missed by his best friends Jeff and Nancy Adams and their children, David and Nicole, of Port Colborne. Predeceased by his mother Josephine Fern Zablocki (née Dalley), his brother Richard Zablocki, and his longtime partner Cristal.
A proud and dedicated longtime member of the Port Colborne Men’s Euchre League, Sherman took great joy in the camaraderie, competition, and laughs shared around the card table. He was also a lifelong Toronto Maple Leafs fan and loved chatting with his brother Joseph about the team, sharing in both the frustrations and the hope that “this could be the year”.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Niagara Health System-Welland Site for their compassionate care during Sherman’s final hours.
