It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Bill Young January 22, 2024 at the age of 69, surrounded by his family. He is survived by the Love of his life Debbie Young.
Loving brother of Marsha Verreth, Lyn Grant (Jim) and Bob Young (Barb).
Loving Step-father to Ashley Koubar (Jason) and Allison Smith (Rene) and step-granddaughter Hannah.
He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Melanie Grant (Kevin), Buzz Grant (Keri), Shaun Thiessen (Sue), Trevor Thiessen (Mai-Ling), Zack Young.
Bill is predeceased by his Mother Jean Young (1992) and father Douglas Young (2021).
For those that knew him, Bill lived his life to the fullest. Be it travelling to 29 countries in his lifetime, he and Debbie dining at the Eiffel Tower, riding camels in Morroco, driving a Ferrari on the Imola racetrack, riding his bike from Amsterdam to France, to wandering through the jungles in Madagascar.
He was always working on an endless bucket list, and had the most interesting stories to tell about his adventures.
In line with Bill’s wishes a celebration of life will be held at the
Royal Canadian Legion 3850 Lakeshore Blvd W, Etobicoke , Ont on February 17th from 1- 4PM
In Lieu of flowers donations to the Cancer society would be appreciated by the family.

My condolences to the family. Bill was an amazing person to talk to and share stories with. He was always kind and wanted to spend time with everyone and bring out a smile or a good stretch. He will be missed.
