YATES, Mary “Isobel” (Blackburn)

It is with deepest sadness that the family of Isobel Yates announce her passing on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at the John Noble Home, Brantford, Ontario. Beloved sister of Dori Blackburn and Ken Blackburn and wife Donna. Will be missed by nephew Jay Blackburn and wife Cindi and their children Calvin and Rainn and niece Erin Blackburn and her fiannce Joel Decker. Predeceased by her brother Ted and her father and mother Roy and Daisy (Long) Blackburn. The family thanks the caregivers of VON, Concept of Care and John Noble Home for their tender care as she battle courageously through many illnesses. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In memory of Isobel donations to the Canadian Heart and Stroke or charity of your choice would be appreciated. Our lives have changed but our memories will last forever.
