WINDECKER (nee Grant-Henderson), JACKIE
March 10, 1952- January 3, 2021

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Jackie.
She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 42 years, Larry and her four
girls: Janette (Matt), Lori-ann (Troy), Kim (Jeff) and Heather (Rob). Cherished
sister of Joan (late Donald) and Grammie to Samantha, Adam, Brenden, Ethan,
and Benjamin. Predeceased by her niece Joanne.
Jackie’s customers at Canadian Tire will always remember her dedication, ‘sassy
attitude’ and sense of humour. She was a thoughtful friend, talented baker and
crocheter, avid bookwork, and lover of animals. Jackie’s family would like to
thank the staff on Palliative Care at the BGH for the care and compassion
provided at such a difficult time.
A private family celebration will be held at a later date. In honour of Jackie’s
memory, donations to the SPCA or Palliative Care Unit would be greatly
appreciated.
