With heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing of William Anthony Waters on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the age of 54. Cherished son of William Waters Sr and the late Patricia May (John May). Beloved father to Stephanie (Ryan), Amanda, Hermaine, Lynnsey and stepfather to Jodee-Lynn (Trent). Chuck and Eddie. Doting grandfather to Hunter, Cameron, Savannah, Emily, Amara, Dean and Thea. Dear brother to Sherry (Alex), Leanne, Chris, and Tim and loving uncle to Karlee and Chelsea. Remembered by his partner Becky Beckham.
Billy was a hardworking and caring person who always put his family first, especially his children and grandchildren. He was proud of his trade as a Sandblaster and spent many years at Andritz Hydro where he was well-liked by colleagues. He had a passion for landscaping and could always be counted on to make a lawn look better. In quieter moments he could be found on the trails biking or enjoying the solitude of fishing. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by family members and friends.
A celebration of Billy’s life will take place on Sunday, August 24, 2025, from 12-4 pm at Brant Naval Veteran’s Association (54 Wadsworth Street, Brantford, ON N3T 3V7).
