With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Vi Lam on June 22, 2023.
Vi was the beloved husband of Ngek Cheng Chun for over 35 years, and father to Albert Lam (and wife Tiffany). Caring and loving grandfather to Alyssa Lam, respected brother to his siblings, and a dear friend to many. His absence leaves a void, but his love and resilience remain in our hearts. He will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sunnybrook. For those wanting to honour Vi Lam, donations can be made to the Ross Tilley Burn Centre at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. Friends and family can make their donation via Sunnybrook Foundation by phone (416-480-4483), online https://donate.sunnybrook.ca/tribute , or mail c/o Sunnybrook Foundation, KGW01-2075 Bayview Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M4N 3M5. Please select “Other” for the Designation and funds donated in memory of Vi Lam will be automated directed to the Ross Tilley Burn Centre.
A visitation and service will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 from 10am – 12pm at St. John’s Dixie Magnolia Chapel, 737 Dundas Street East, Mississauga, ON, L4Y 2B5. At the time of the service, the live-streaming will be available here: https://stjohnsdixie.com/cemetery/live-memorial/
