Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family at the John Noble Home, Saturday July 29th, 2017 in his 77th year. Loving husband of 42 years to Sophia, devoted father to Jason (Kim) and Loni (Grant). Cherished grandfather/papa to Jordan Baxter, Alexis and Owen Verschoore. Dear brother Stanley (Alicja) Verschoore of Brantford and sister Yolande (Jef) Vandemaele (Belgium). Loved uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Andre spent his life devoted to his family. Spent many hours coaching hockey, baseball and never missing a moment that life had to offer. He fought a long lenghy battle with Alzheimers. He will forever remain in our hearts.
A private celebration of Andre’s life for family and close friends will take place Thursday August 3, 2017 at 12 noon at Holy Cross Cremation Centre, 620 Governor’s Rd. E., Paris, ON. Inurnment of cremated remains to follow the service. Donations to the Palliative Unit at the John Noble Home or the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated by the family.

Sophie Stan Alice and Yolanda and families, our thoughts are with you at this difficult time losing a husband father grandfather brother uncle and cousin. He was a great man remember going to farm when his parents were alive and helping with the tobacco, mostly playing but there was some work accomplished. He is a peace and no longer suffering from that dreaded disease. Remember the good times and they will help you get through this.
