Peacefully surrounded by his family at Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford on Sunday September 6, 2015 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of 46 years to Henny. Loving father of Katie (Angelina) and Rob. Adored Opa of Allison. Predeceased by his son Huib. Peter was a true inspiration and his loss is felt by family and his many friends. Donations in his memory may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday September 14, 2015, at 1:00 at St. James Anglican Church, 8 Burwell St. Paris.

Henny and family,
We were so very sad to read of Peter’s passing. We extend our sincere condolences on your loss.
Peter was our painter a few years ago, doing some work in our home. He was a very kind, honest and genuine man. I enjoyed tremendously our coffee breaks together during those days. It was a very stressful time for us dealing with some family issues and Peter was very respectful and helpful at that time. I will always remember his kindness, and I feel grateful that I met him.
