TUCKER, Carol Diane
On December 27, 2018 Carol went to join her loving father Archdeacon Harold Llewellin in Heaven. Carol was born in Hamilton, ON on August 14, 1947. She graduated from St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in 1968. Shortly afterward she married her high school sweetheart and best friend Ray Tucker. Ray and Carol recently celebrated their 50th anniversary this past September with an Alaskan cruise and excursion on the Rocky Mountaineer. Carol spent more than thirty years caring for others as a Registered Nurse. Carol is survived by her loving husband Ray, daughter Cathy Ross (Phil), son Mike Tucker (Geeta), grandchildren Nicholas Stansbury and Kevin and Alix Tucker. Also survived by her mother Lorraine Llewellin and sisters Joanne Wheeler (Ian) and Donna Carlson (Tony). Carol will be lovingly remembered by many family and friends and her cuddle pal, her schnauzer “Gracie”. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Canadian Liver Foundation or the Grace Anglican Church.
As per Carol’s request, cremation has been arranged. Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 4, 2019 at the Grace Anglican Church, 4 Pearl St. Brantford, ON. The service will be followed by a get together where light refreshments will be served.

Our thoughts are with you all. Ray and family: we are so very sorry to hear of Carol’s passing. Our last memory of the two of you is at last year’s wedding for your niece, Jenny, and we so much enjoyed our conversation around the table. May your wonderful years of memories help you through this difficult time.

Dear Ray and family,
Please accept our deepest condolences in the loss of your wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. The last time we saw Carol was at our father’s visitation in 2014. (Our mother used to say Harold was her “favourite” cousin). It was so thoughtful of Carol to bring Lorraine, and have a chat with her.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
