Dear Mary and family:
I was very sad to hear of Jim’s passing. He was a good neighbor.
Unfortunately I will be unable to attend the memorial since I will be
in Vancouver with Madison that week. Thinking of you with
deepest sympathy.

Farewell to a lovely person, we will miss his happy smile and long friendship. Deepest sympathy to Mary and all the family, Edith and Sal Petrella.
My dear Mary and Family:
It was with a heavy heart that I read in the Expositor that your beloved Jimmy had passed away. Jimmy fought a long and valiant fight and you, Mary, were with him every step of the way. Jimmy is at peace now and hopefully in time you will all take comfort in memories of happy times you shared. I will always remember Jimmy as a kind, caring and gentle man. He will really be missed.
My deepest sympathy and prayers go to all of you.
